บทคัดย่อ

บทความฉบับนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายอธิบายทัศนะว่าด้วยเรื่องการเวียนว่ายตายเกิดโดยใช้วิธีวิจัยจากเอกสาร ผลการวิจัยสามารถจัดจำแนกเป็น 3 ประเด็นหลัก ประเด็นที่ 1 คือ ทัศนะเรื่องการเวียนว่ายตายเกิดจากการตีความสัญลักษณ์ทิศบูรพาและงู ประเด็นที่ 2 คือ ทัศนะเรื่องการ
เวียนว่ายตายเกิดปรากฏทั้งในเทพปกรณัมของอียิปต์จากหนังสือ “นิทานโบราณคดีอียิปต์” ทัศนะของโสคราตีสนักปราชญ์แห่งกรีกโบราณจากหนังสือ “เพลโต วันสุดท้ายของโสคราตีส” เทพปกรณัมของชาวอเมริกันอินเดียนเผ่าแบล็คฟุทเรื่อง “ระบำกระบือ” พระคัมภีร์และวรรณกรรมที่มีชื่อเสียงทางศาสนาฮินดูของอินเดีย ได้แก่ “อุปนิษัท” และ “อัตชีวประวัติของโยคี” วรรณกรรมรางวัลโนเบลเกี่ยวกับพระพุทธศาสนาเรื่อง “กามนิต วาสิฏฐี” รวมไปถึงคัมภีร์ไบเบิลของคริสต์ศาสนา ส่วนประเด็นที่ 3 คือ ที่มาของปรากฏการณ์เวียนว่ายตายเกิด ซึ่งนอกจากจะเนื่องด้วยอิทธิพลของวัฒนธรรมเกษตร และเป็นการขยายต่อจากแนวความคิดปฐมภูมิหรืออาร์คีไทพ์แล้ว ยังเกิดจากที่มนุษย์ไม่สามารถสละละอัตตาและวัตถุอันไม่จีรัง จึงจำต้องเวียนว่ายตายเกิดเพื่อสะสางกรรมเก่าจนหมดจดจึงจะบรรลุถึงความหลุดพ้นได้

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain the profound expansion of the viewpoint of Reincarnation. Documentary research was applied as a frame methodological analysis. The results indicate three aspects. The first one is the viewpoint of Reincarnation from the symbolize interpretation of the “Eastward direction” and of Snakes. The second one is related to Egyptian mythology from the book named “Egyptian Tales”, Socrates viewpoint in “Plato: The last days of Socrates”, viewpoints from Buffalo dance of Blackfoot-American Indian mythology, the famous Hindu scripture and literature of India such as “Upanishads” and “Autobiography of a Yogi”, the Nobel Prize literature about Buddhism “The Pilgrim Kamanita”, including the Holly Bible. The third aspect is the Reincarnation concerning agricultural heritage, the elaboration of elementary ideas or Archetype, and the failure in decreasing one’s selfness of attaining salvation.
