Effects of Organizing Learning Activity Using KWDL Techniques on Mathematics Word Problem-Solving Ability and Learning Retention on Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables / ผลของการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้เทคนิค KWDL ที่มีต่อความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาและความคงทนในการเรียนคณิตศาสตร์เรื่องระบบสมการเชิงเส้นสองตัวแปร

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาและความคงทนในการเรียนคณิตศาสตร์ ระหว่างกลุ่มที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้เทคนิค KWDL กับกลุ่มที่จัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบปกติ เรื่อง ระบบสมการเชิงเส้นสองตัวแปร กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 โรงเรียนละหานทรายรัชดาภิเษก อำเภอละหานทราย จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2558 จำนวน 2 ห้องเรียน จำนวนนักเรียน 94 คน ได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม เครื่องมือในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย 1) แผนการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้เทคนิค KWDL 2) แผนการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบปกติ 3) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ 4) แบบทดสอบวัดความคงทนในการเรียนคณิตศาสตร์

ผลการวิจัย พบว่า

1.   นักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้เทคนิค KWDL มีความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ สูงกว่านักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบปกติ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01

2.   นักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้เทคนิค KWDL มีความคงทนในการเรียนคณิตศาสตร์ สูงกว่านักเรียนที่จัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบปกติ อย่างมีอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to compare the word problem solving ability and retention on mathematics of students between a group who learned using KWDL technique with the conventional approach for management at a linear equation with two variables. The samples consisted of 94 grade 9 students attending in the first semester of the academic year in 2015, LahansaiRatchadapisek School, Lahansai District, Buriram Province, who were selected through the random cluster sampling technique. The research instruments were: 1) the lesson plans for organization of using KWDL technique. 2) the lesson plans for organization of the conventional approach. 3) the test of mathematical problem solving ability. 4) the test of the learning retention of mathematics.

The results of the research were as follows:

1.  The student who learned using KWDL technique showed higher mathematical the word problem solving ability than those who learned using the conventional approach at the .01 level of significance.

2.  The student who learned using KWDL technique showed higher mathematical retention skills than those who learned using the conventional approach at the .01 level of significance.
