บทคัดย่อ

พหุวัฒนธรรมศึกษาเป็นการจัดการศึกษาที่ทำให้ผู้เรียนได้รับประสบการณ์ทางด้านการศึกษาอย่างเท่าเทียมกันถึงแม้จะมีความแตกต่างกันทางเพศ ชาติพันธุ์ วัฒนธรรม ภาษา ชนชั้นทางสังคม ศาสนา และความแตกต่างด้านอื่นๆ การจัดการศึกษาในยุคประชาคมอาเซียน
จึงต้องมีการปฏิรูปเปลี่ยนแปลงสถาบันการศึกษาเพื่อให้ผู้เรียนได้มีโอกาสในการเรียนรู้อย่างเท่าเทียมกัน โดยอาศัยพหุวัฒนธรรมการศึกษาเป็นแนวทาง เพราะพหุวัฒนธรรมการศึกษาทำให้ผู้เรียนเกิดการพัฒนาตัวเอง มีความกระจ่างในด้านทัศนคติและค่านิยม มีความสามารถทางสังคมที่มีความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม มีทักษะขั้นพื้นฐานและเป็นการเสริมพลังให้กับตัวผู้เรียนเพื่อการปฏิรูปสังคม โดยการ
บูรณาการเนื้อหาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับวัฒนธรรมสอดแทรกเข้าไปในรายวิชา ผ่านกระบวนการสร้างความรู้โดยครูช่วยเหลือผู้เรียนให้เกิดความเข้าใจ สืบเสาะ และตัดสินใจ เพื่อดูข้อสันนิษฐานทางวัฒนธรรมที่จะทำให้ผู้เรียนเกิดความเข้าใจว่า องค์ประกอบทางชนชาติ ชาติพันธุ์ เพศ ชนชั้นทางสังคมของบุคคลหรือกลุ่มบุคคลมีอิทธิพลต่อการเกิดความรู้อย่างไร การลดอคติ หรือความลำเอียง การสอนที่ยึดหลักความยุติธรรม ตลอดจนการปรับโครงสร้างทางสังคม และวัฒนธรรมของสถานศึกษาที่ส่งเสริมหรือสนับสนุนในเรื่องความเสมอภาค เท่าเทียมกันของผู้เรียน รวมทั้งการคำนึงถึงสถานศึกษาในฐานะระบบทางสังคม และหลักสูตรที่ซ่อนอยู่ โดยนำแนวคิดพหุวัฒนธรรมศึกษาไปสู่การบริหารสถานศึกษา ทั้งในด้านการบริหารจัดการ ด้านหลักสูตร ด้านบุคลากร ด้านการเรียนการสอน รวมทั้งด้านการมีส่วนร่วมของผู้ปกครอง และชุมชน ทั้งนี้ เนื่องจากประชาคมสังคมและวัฒนธรรมอาเซียน (ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community หรือ ASCC) มีเป้าหมายให้อาเซียนเป็นประชาคมที่มีประชาชนเป็นศูนย์กลาง สังคมที่เอื้ออาทรและแบ่งปัน ประชากรอาเซียนมีสภาพความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีและมีการพัฒนาใน
ทุกด้านเพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของประชาชน การเกิดขึ้นของประชาคมอาเซียนสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความเป็นสังคมพหุวัฒนธรรมเพิ่มมากขึ้น

ดังนั้น ในการจัดการศึกษาจึงจำเป็นต้องปรับกระบวนทัศน์ในการเรียนรู้ ปรับทัศนคติ พัฒนาผู้เรียนให้เป็นผู้ที่มีความสามารถในการทำงานร่วมกับผู้อื่นที่ต่างวัฒนธรรมได้ และเรียนรู้ประเทศเพื่อนบ้านทั้งในด้านประวัติศาสตร์ ขนบธรรมเนียม ประเพณี และวัฒนธรรมเพื่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจอันดีระหว่างกัน

Abstract

Multicultural education is an education that allows students to gain experience in education equally, even a different gender, ethnicity, culture, language, social class, religion, and diversity in other aspects. Educational management in the era of ASEAN community must reform the institutions for the students opportunity to learn equally by using the concept of multicultural education as a guideline. Multicultural education are important for personal development, attitudes and value clarification, multicultural social competence, basic skills and proficiency personal empowerment for social reform. By integrating cultural into the course through the process of creating knowledge by teachers help students to understand the quest and decided to assume the culture and understanding how racial, ethnic, gender and social class of the person or group of people influence the knowledge. Moreover, multicultural education is focus on prejudice reduction, equity pedagogy, an empowering school culture and social structure as well as the school as social system and hidden curriculum that support equality of learning. The schools should reform management, curriculum, instruction, personnel and the participation of parents and community by using the concept of multicultural education as a guideline because of ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community, or ASCC aims to be people-centered community, caring and sharing society, ASEAN people are well-being and developing in all aspects to enhance their quality of life. The emergence of ASEAN reflects the increasing multicultural society.

Therefore, educational management is required to adjust the paradigm of learning, attitude, students ability in working with others who have different cultures and their neighboring countries about history, tradition, and culture to achieve a better understanding between each other.
